Materials

The materials we use are made of fibers from natural sources such and hemp, silk, and organic cotton. We use these for their strength, beauty and comfort, but also because at the end of their life they are biodegradable. All fabrics are dyed with either low or no impact dyes, and we are striving to make all processes more transparent as we move forward.

Process

Each design starts at the home studio and on the dress form. Sampling and development is done both at home and with the help of a local friend's product development business in Lowell, MA.  Each piece is designed and draped on the dress form to reduce fabric consumption.

Production

Every piece is hand made in either Lowell, MA or New York City, by factories we know and trust. The minimal scraps that are created, are returned to us for future use.
